Just got letter from GP. This morning saying they are putting all there patients on Trelegy from now on instead of two different inhalers ! Is anyone using this inhaler and what benefits if any ? They say it’s to save forgetting to take two together !! Regards, Dengreenhowe

Yes I have been on it for over 6months it seems fine no trouble with it you only use it once a day which is handy instead of useing two different inhalers per day no problems with it I am happy with it

Do you take it first thing in the morning, ?

Every morning and night before bed mine is nebuliser which I have been on for nearly ten years and on oxygen 24/7 for over 4years

THEY TRIED IT ON ME , BUT HAD TO COME OFF IT 3 WEEKS LATER, IT DID NOTHING AT ALL FOR ME.

I’ve been on it for 2 years and it’s fine. It depends what you’re changing from as to how you find it. I couldn’t tolerate spiolto or spiriva which are I think more dynamic

Hmmm, no experience of trelegy but I was very glad I kept hold of the old inhaler Seretide as emergency back up in case the Sirdupla they insisted on changing me to didn't work. It didnt! Finally I got Fostair and I've never looked back. (Not suggesting that you have the same, just that it's wise to hang on to the old inhaler just in case). P

Thanks peege I have one months old inhalers at hand just in case ! I have no choice they say all there patients with Copd are now just getting Trelegy !!
