Hi, I have lately switch my inhailer Trimbow to Trelegy ,I'm am a bit confused as I've just googled Trelegy, it says if you are using Ventolin four times a day only use Ventolin when needed, does this mean cut your Ventolin down or if you need it four times a day, I'm wondering now if this is to much

It is confusing 🤔Where did you read that? Was it a reputable website or a random google website? Hopefully someone with both those inhalers will be able to clarify things 👍

Hi Alice! I am on Trelegy, have been for 18 months or so. Before when I was on Spiolto Respimat and Ventolin, I was told to take the Ventoiln when I needed it up to 4 times a day (it is a reliever). When I changed to Trelegy, I was given the same advice re the Ventoiln. Now my COPD is worse my respiratory nurse says she is happy for me to take Ventolin up to 8 times a day if I really need it. So, my understanding is take the Ventolin when you need it up to 4 times a day. Hope this helps xx

I have been on trelegy for over a year now. And hardly need to use my blue inhaler. Hope it helps you. I have always taken salbutamol when needed.
