Test and Trace?

Daft question perhaps, but is Test and Trace still in operation? I thought all that was finished with until today when I received a text message purporting to be from the NHS. It said I'd been in contact with an infected person, and that I should order a PCR test. I'm reluctant to click on the link, so thought someone here would know. Having been, like so many here, disregarded for the 4th & 5th boosters, and finding my surgery a total waste of time (except for the repeat prescriptions ordered online) I thought "blow it, I'll put all interest in Covid behind me" and have completely lost track of what's going on.

This is a con! Track and trace no longer exists and someone is trying to “suck you in” for some sort of scam. Well done for spotting.

Thanks for flagging that up. I had such a text last week, the day after someone I knew tested positive. I didn't do anything about it as although I was in the same building, we were not in the same place - her upstairs is over my office. Glad I just deleted it now.

They probably going to try charge you for a supposed pcr test. No one has to have these now, even if your positive on the home kit. Scam all the way.
