Stay strong H. Better to have the surgery and get that tumour out of your lungs.
Best of luck, we will be thinking about you.
Time to be glad they found it, get it removed, and then move forward. Positive attitude. You can do it! Kind Regards, judg69
H i can give you a very positive experience of lung surgery. My dear wife was diagnosed and confirmed via CT and PET scan of having a coin spot lesion(tumour) in the upper left lobe of her lung.A lung section biopsy confirmed non small cell cancer and during that biopsy her upper left lobe was removed.subsequently as a direct result of this surgery all cancerous cells were removed and she neither needed chemo or radiotherapy afterwards and was cancer free. The recovery process was fairly rapid and normally with physio and rest one could expect to back to normal within months.I hope this positive outcome will to some extent remove some of your anxieties and fears and wish you strength and energy on your journey.................regards skis and scruffy cat
Put your trust in the specialists looking after you instead of worrying about things that haven't happened yet, not easy but has worked for me. Good luck.
So sorry..it will be fine, medecine is so much more successful than it used to be..they are all sorts of meds to make you feel better and painless. Take care and let us know how you are getting on x
Hi Harzipan, I'm so sorry. Put your faith in the specialists and be brave. We're all here on this journey with you so do keep us posted as to how you get on x
Good luck with your operation, Harzipan. In the meantime, try to savour the good things of today - the autumn trees, a meal you really enjoy, a favourite programme on TV, time with a good friend........ fill in your own......
Definitely thinking of you and sending positivity your way. You will get through this and l wish you well. Xxxx
Hello Harzipan, not surprised you are worried with the results you have. At least it will be dealt with quickly and hopefully you will then be on the way to recovery. Best wishes and hope all goes well with the op, take care and allow time to recover slowly no rushing.
I do hope all goes well for you at this worrying time. xx
Sending you my very best wishes and positive thoughts at this difficult time. I hope that all goes well, and I will be thinking of you. XXX
I had a tumour biopsied found to be cancerous and lobe removed from my lungs in the same operation. I was scared too. A year later breathing better than I was, swimming, walking and moving on. Also no chemo or radiotherapy follow up as above., So head up and go for it better out now than too late.
