Post surgery discharge

Hi again just wanted to ask the people who have had this surgery on discharge were you able to climb stairs to go to bed or did you have bed downstairs ? Thanks in advance 👍🏼😁

Hi and welcome. I'm a bit confused by your two posts. Have you had LVRS or just been offered it at this stage?

Hi no not had yet !!! Been offered robotic assisted lung volume reduction in both lungs !!

I haven't had the surgery so can't give you personal advice. It may be that there are members here who have and who may come along at some stage and reply to you.

Failing that I think that it might help you to make a note of all your questions and discuss them with your consultant when you next see him. The nurses at BLF may also be able to help if you want to give them a ring after the weekend.

In your situation I would be very apprehensive too but it seems likely that your consultant thinks this procedure will benefit you if you decide to go ahead. Best wishes and let us know how things develop.
