Hello Joan, please take things easy. Sepsis and pneumonia are horrible things to happen to anyone.
If you have ongoing problems with sepsis then the UK Sepsis Trust may be able to help. Pete found them very kind and helpful.
Wishing you well. Xxxxx
Hi Sassy
I only found out I had sepsis when discharged from hospital as I hadn't had results from my blood s.
Hope it's ok to ask did your husband ha Pnemonia +sepsis as I believe common to get both ?i still coughing and very weak but esch day I get a little better.
I believe those take some getting over Joan. You really have to rest up and pace yourself for many weeks. Be prepared not to be okay for 1st April.
A very healthy friend of mine, no health issues whatsoever, had it a couple of months ago and still not well. Can take months to get back to your normal, sorry 😟. Take care, rest well. P
Oh noooo I have got to get better as it's all booked and planned .
Fingers crossed !
Can you invest in a tonic to take daily? Plus a very good probiotic to help your system after the antibiotics gave killed off all the good stuff in your body.
Good luck, Joan x
I have been taking pro biotics for some time as I had rather a lot of antibiotics +steroids.
I was also prescribed probiotics from my consultant when ileft hospital which surprised me I have always bought them.
I have had tests and it appears that I am anemia so seeing GP tomorrow see what she suggests.
I am resting and eating lots of fruit and vegetables so hopefully I will be well enough for my wedding.
Thanks for advice. X
Oh, Joan, hope you have a speedy recovery. Wishing you all the best after all you've been through.

Gosh your body had a fight on its hands - take it slow now and make a good recovery. Pneumonia is enough to deal with . Wishing you well. x
Wishing you all the best Joan, it takes a while to get your strength back. I've been home three weeks from a months stay in hospital and still struggling to get around my house. I have emphysema and copd l nearly died twice with type 2 respiratory failure which excaserbated the copd , l had a dnr on me so just grateful l made it. It takes time to build your strength back up, l hope you have a beautiful day! Xxx
Lucy wishing you a speedy recovery.
