Cold and Canulas

Apologies for an indelicate question. My wife has a nasty cold, her first since being on oxygen, which she needs to get up and down stairs and other activities. The problem is that with a completely blocked nose the oxygen is not getting through. Any tips?

Hiya ☺️ maybe get a nasal spray to unblock her nose that the oxygen will be useful again. Or get in touch with GP to change for breathing mask for the mouth or GP will come up with something different. Best wishes that she getting well again. 🌺🌺🌺

Also Sterimar which you can easily buy now is really good, it,s a salt water nasal spray and works wonders. I suffer badly with nasal and blocked nose and the Congestion Relief(orange) has been a god send. Also ask your local pharmacist they might be able to help.

You can buy nasal strips, I think they are called Breathe Right, which are a bit like a narrow plaster which goes across the nose and opens both nostrils. These may help your wife.
