Fans/dust/airways

Evening all. Does anyone have experience of using a dyson filtering air fan? I tried a normal rotating tower fan a couple of years ago which kicked off my lungs and trachea. Took 6 months to calm my airway down after numerous courses of antibiotics and a truck full of steroids. I need something that will cool the air without affecting my airways!

I use the dyson cool me which sits by y bed and is used every night with no problem at all very quiet if used in number 1 or 2 but I have used as high as high as number 6 and been able to sleep with it. Expensive but does what it says

I doubt if you will regret it.Even when it's cold i sometimes wake up in a sweat in the night ,so turning it on helps me get back to sleep comfortably.Cheers

Thank you gingermusic. I’ve been toying with idea for a while but I’ve been nervous after the tower fan made pretty unwell. You reach a certain age and your inbuilt thermoregulator literally has a breakdown in the middle of the night….phew!

I don't think you will be disappointed I would not be without mine now

I have two! Bought one for the living room and was so impressed I splashed out on one for the bedroom. Most of the time I run the front room one on auto. It is brilliant. Start frying something in kitchen and it kicks off. Husband brings a glass of wine into the sitting room and it ups it’s speed. Brilliant for detecting possible irritants.

The bedroom one I tend to run on one or two on hot night. Doesn’t disturb your sleep.

Well worth the money
