Still air
I have bronchiectasis not copd but feel the same way, especially on warm, still nights. I don't have AC but live on a windy coastline so rely on open windows! I'm sure it's psychological but I just like to feel the movement of air.
Hi Hanne - I don't think it's psychological - my respiratory nurse always tells me to use a fan to make the air and its oxygen more available (my words, but something like that.) Nice to see you posting.
Oh that's interesting then, thanks for letting me know! Yeah thought it was time I made a bit of an effort
And copd
I don't have a fan but I do like a good air flow through my house-it makes me feel better and my breathing easier. I have a small window open in my bedroom together with my air purifying plants most of the year. Even in winter I open my patio door in my living room maybe just for a short while if it is especially cold which I feel freshens the oxygen content. In the summer they are flung open most of the time! Having said this I am very lucky to live near the sea in a Close with no through traffic and lots of clean air and appreciate that lots of people are not in this position. x
Hi yes bronchiectasis and copd without a.c. which I had fitted 2 yrs ago I cannot breathe easy I also had a PIV unit fitted before that which keeps the air filtered all yr round fantastic difference to me apart from it
Can be turned off when outside air too warm and use a.c. instead .car has aircon also as we have to think how to carry on breathing easier .
I do have copd previous text said not.blooming text prediction
I thought it was just me.🤣🤣
I must have at least a fan running the air movement is vital to me
Yes run fan year around.
I use a fan all the time. If it is not directed at me then I have it circulating the air. Just makes it easier for me to breath. It could just be all in my head but I feel better with the fan on!!
Yes. Ceiling fan must be on. I remember decades ago before I was even diagnosed I’d be driving in the car with the window cracked in winter. My family freezing thinking I’d gone mad.
