Plasma donation.

Sharon has just gone off to the Blood donation center to donate plasma, for therapeutic purposes towards Covid.

She has also taken my all my details along with her. Unfortunately, having cancer means my blood cannot be used in a transfusion, but I am prepared to donate for research purposes. To perhaps help find out just why I survived against the odds. Hopefully it may lead to help others.

I have not been accepted yet, a case of wait and see. I have made the offer but do not know if such research is being carried out, despite being a pretty obvious thing to do, to me. I do know that the UHS is a teaching and research hospital.
