Masks - why are reusable ones that barely cover your face being sold? Husband bought one and it does not fit properly but because its his team want to wear it. I have severe asthma and would prefer him wear a better fitting one as both of us get sick if he does which will mean icu for me. How on earth is this ok?

Your husband needs to wear a properly fitting face covering otherwise there’s no point. Can he not ignore others and just do what’s best for him and ultimately you.
Wishing you well. Xxxxx
Could you adapt it or make a better fitting one for him so that he is still supporting the team?
If your husband bought it, get him to return to the seller telling them it doesnt fit, that way the seller will know and hopefully if they have to make refunds will make adjustments. In the meantime buy one that does fit properly x
I think face masks are like dating - you have to kiss a few frogs But to be fair, our size requirements also vary. I bought a whole selection a while back - from plain white p2s to patterned fabric ones. There was a huge variation in size and fit. Even a good make like 3M was too small and uncomfortable on me as I'm on steroids and they have made my face chubby. I think it's a matter of experimenting but also some sellers (have a look on Etsy) do different sizes and even made to measure. Plus have a look at the Addidas ones.
TBH I've been making for my friends & family as I was seeing too many online offers which were taking advantage of the situation. I had to try various pattern until I found the right one that seems to suit. When I've been out I've noticed a lot of the bought ones barely cover the face while others are gaping here there and everywhere.
I have seen people wearing masks that do not fix as well as it should. Every body's face is different in size and shape.
I quilt, so I have a lot of fabric. The pattern that I downloaded for a woman and man size was not big enough. I had to alter it and by trial and error I finally made some for my husband and myself that fit.
