Couple of questions really ,we are looking to move house in the not to distant future ,Am I allowed to move house ,we are doing a mutual exchange with a couple ,we want to move to be nearer to family at present they are 100 miles away .would we be allowed to do this I believe Eastate agents are open to viewing etc.
The other thing I want to know his am I still on the Government high risk because of my COPD and Bronchitis ,I recieved a text on 3 rd April had the letter from Boris ,I have not had anything back from them whatsoever,I have read on here where people have been told by a letter that they have to extend their lock down even had a message ,I haven’t had anything at all to say I have to stay in for another 12 weeks which I would find very hard to do ,we have a Static Caravan and are waiting for the site to open up ,I’m a 68 Male
I don’t intend of going into super markets etc where crowds will be I intend to keep my distance

Hi I think you are confusing laws and guidelines. It isn't law that you have to shield, you are only advised to and you aren't breaking any rules if you choose not to.
As for moving house I'm not sure whether it is against the law or not, but we only know what the govt. has said ourselves so check on the official information which you will find online.
I believe moving is now a possibility. It was announced at the changes a couple of weeks ago that removals companies are amongst those allowed back to work as long as they practice safe distancing.
Check with a reputable estate agent what precautions they are putting in place for viewings.
