Optimistic Good news

Thought this might give some of us in the UK a bit of optimism about the future. Our local hospital has announced they will be trying to reduce the backlog of non urgent & elective surgery. Fingers crossed it does not spark another peak in the virus and leads the way for other NHS hospitals to consider moving forward. Best wishes to anyone awaiting treatment like myself. Plenty of sun today so we can lap up the vitamin D, not so good for asthmatics though. Enjoy your day everyone.

Let’s hope things do move forward very soon Katie and get back to some sort of normality.

It’s a beautiful day here with lots of sunshine so we’ll be in the garden soon.

Take care. Xxxx

I am managing well all considered , not my usual lifestyle but glad not to have to worry about going anywhere with a wonky leg, food requirements or finances. Just found a message from a freind that sums it up for us older persons what a day in the life of retirement is like :) during the pandemic. Gave me a smile xxxx
