Rehab
Aching all over shattered.
That shows you that you are doing it right. It gets easier. π

Keep going
It's so worth it in the end, keep going and it helps enormously, 5yrs ago I did my rehab and still go every week to BLF gym it's been a revelation, I doubt if I would be able to do half the things I am doing without having started pulmonary rehabilitation.
Well done Hidden . Long may it continue with wonderful results. xx ππΆ
it will get better
its good you might feel shattered but I bet you feel like you have achieved something
keep it up its worth it
Thanks for all the comments. X
well done an important step forward. What you need to do is keep it going and try to exercise based on the rehab circuit whenever you can. I was lucky to find a similar active circuit at our local gym called prime time. Its got several COPD and bronchiectasis people enrolled on it together with others who just want a regime that keeps them active.
If I do well for the 6 weeks, I can have maintenance classes at the hospital after.
That's good, in my local authority they have/had a scheme whereby you could have 12 weeks I think it was free membership after the initial rehab at the hospital. We then enrolled and go 2-3 times a week, if I am not well enough I don't go. Good luck. Keep going.
Thanks.
Keep it up it will help you.It did help me and now i go to the gym
Obviously, you mustn't make yourself ill over it, but the physios and trainers who run these classes are well trained in recognising when to get someone to push themselves, for their own benefit, and when they need to pull back a bit.
These classes have been the best thing offered to me, and I really, really see a benefit from them, both physical and emotionally. I hope they end up doing the same for you x
2nd time today. I'm surprised I am enjoying it as much as I am. I have arthritis and Fibromyalgia as well as COPD and have bad flare ups, but rehab seems to be helping x
Well done keep going. Some of my friends do a chair based programme of exercise which is good if you have trouble standing. I found it hard work as sitting is not the best position for breathing.

Hi it will get easier the more exercise you do and it will help control use of breathing.
I've just got my ambulatory oxygen but am still on trial. Have another session of rehab for March, they are good you will meet people with similar conditions some a lot worse.
I've had a couple usually after a hospital stay, this time it's because I've just got the oxygen.
Enjoy your time with rehab, they will only work you within your limit.

Thanks, it's my 2nd week, I love it, but struggling with arthritis.
