My take on christmas,if i could grow a beard,put on just a bit of weight and hire the suit you wouldn't see me until boxing day(oxygen permitting).so like Bernadette says in her pledges,remember somebody at Christmas.

That is lovely and not at all what I was expecting. And maybe it didn't cost £8 million to make like a certain other advert did. Which is quite a lot of money and could probably have made a huge difference to a lot of people's lives.

Your video is certainly a reminder of others difficulties and sadness. It is also a reminder of how each one of us could make a goodwill gesture in some way or another. This could be a gift of course, but equally it could be in other ways! A very meaningful, thought provoking message. Liked it very much.

Alas my dear Squirrels i think he is resting up for the winter as he is not one for leaping fences or hurdles or running on all weather tracks,it hurts his paws(sorry wrong species)so he is a bit like his cheerleader.:)x

Better than any I've seen so far.....my heart goes out to those who are lonely and by themselves at this time. Especially as the TVs keeps showing all the family gatherings.....and for some alls that's left is memories and empty wishes and dreams. Now I've started the tears and that won't do ... chin up face another day. Xxx

Yes it is a sad video and i saw my own dreams and wishes disappear some time ago but it also shows that there is always joy in making someone's life a little happier if only for a brief moment. x

Just seen this, been down south visiting family and acquiring a festive chest infection. It made this hard woman cry, reminded me of by brother. After his divorce he refused to join in the “fun” and I didn’t blame him. He used to say he was going to the local Chinese restaurant “with all the other sad gits”. I suspect they all quite enjoyed it. I don’t like enforced jollity either.
