Christmas alone

Last Year I spent Christmas and New year in hospital- it took me nearly the whole year to recover. Went to have a fitness to fly test passed with ‘flying’ colours . Felt the best in months. Three days later struck down with another exacerbation. Did not want to spend another Christmas in hospital. Took all medications as required from rescue medications. May have saved the hospital but still coughing with lots of mucus. Threatened myself about hospital- seems my body is listening and trying to get well. Should have spent Christmas and Boxing Day with family but I’ll to travel.

So have been on my own in the warmth of my house. Now the good part - my neighbour called it with a Christmas present and invited me for Christmas Day lunch which gracefully declined.

They wouldn’t hear of it but we compromised and they are cooking a meal for me which they will deliver at lunch today.

I am overwhelmed by such generosity at this time of celebration.

Yeah i have rambled on. But I feel a little better getting it off my chest to say thanks to so many kind hearted people

Happy Christmas and a wonderful healthy 2018.

Love 💖 xXx
