Merry Christmas to all the kind and caring people on this site, lets hope we can have a bug free holiday.

I travelled down to Cardiff on Friday to spend Christmas with my family. Luckily the train wasnt too overcrowded and had no delays. I spent yesterday walking round Cardiff castle (my daughter son in law thought it would be fun, ha! ) they dont have my problems walking up all those stairs, it was fun going for tapas and a beer afterwards. It is Luka's (my grandson) 15th birthday today and I cant wait for him to get up, he is growing up so fast I can hardly believe where the years go.

Whatever your Christmas entails, have a good one. Irene x

Ha!ha!ha! Yes he did get up for breakfast and enjoyed his birthday morning, and his Dad has dropped him off at the skate park as he has a party with friends there. Hope Pete is well and you both enjoy the holidayxx

Yes,wishing you and your family in Cardiff, the most wonderful Christmas ever. With a teenage grandson, Christmas's will fly by and he'll be no longer the teenage boy stood in front of you today! Enjoy and embrace absolutely all that you can and cherish these memories, along with the others you have .....so when things get hard on the illness side,you only have to think of your loving family and that will bring joy into your heart once again. Thank you Skis, think my daughter wants to make sure I see everything whilst I am here but the pitstops are worth it. Off to the local market now and mulled wine, think I will need a detox when I get back home ha! Hope you have a merry New Year and scruffs get some good treats x
