Christmas
Hi Ed, congratulations on not smoking for 9 months. You will feel the benefit to your lungs & your pocket!
You need to make sure you're wrapped up cosy when you're out & about just now. The cold air is not good for us with lung conditions.
Just have a lovely rest at home now.
Happy, healthy Christmas to you & your family ππ π»βοΈππππ
First of all Congratulations and utmost respect for managing to stop smoking and to keep it up. Well done and keep going.
You are so amazing to brave not only the shops in Birmingham but also the cold that has gradually crept in today. Stratford upon Avon was far enough for me and by the time that I crawled back to the car park I was totally breathless and freezing cold.
Now it is time to shut myself in with a mince pie and a mug of mulled wine.
Do have a lovely Christmas
Merry Christmas Ed and wishing you well. Take it easy. Xxx
Thank you I hope every one as a good Christmas and do not eat to many mince pies ED ππ·
Couldn't have given yourself a better Christmas present than to stop smoking so many congratulations. The cold weather can be treacherous. Do wrap up warm and many find that breathing through a scarf helps, Put it over your nose and breathe through it to warm up the air for your lungs.
Hi Ed took me about six months of not smoking before the benefits slowly started to kick in its now coming up for two years and I truly feel better for it. You just take it slowly and enjoy your Christmas I know the cold doesn't help, but I'm sure you will start to pick up more in the spring. Xxx Peg Happy christmas
Hello Ed
Sorry to make light of your predicament but Mr V normally has his breath taken away and chest pains when l drag him round the shops and do some serious damage to the contents of his wallet !! Hee Hee.
Well done on giving up the ciggies, and look after yourself. I hope Santa brings you a scarf to keep the cold air out of your lungs.
Have a Happy Christmas.
Velvet xx
hope your feeling better now you have rested , the cold air is horrible , merry christmas and hope you have a good new year
Congratulations on giving up smoking, it will definitely help. I have found it easier going round the shops on a shopmobility scooter. It takes half the time and I am not so exhausted by the time I get back to the car. It also means that I can still shop on my own if need be. It took some time for my husband to actually walk with me when I am on one but even he can see the benefit of it now as I can breath easy and still get my jobs done. Go for it and at least give it a try.
Merry Christmas to you as well.
Hi Ed, glad you eventually got your breath back Brum is quite hilly I don't shop there anymore. Keep up the good work on no ciggys well done. With time the breathing should improve Happy Christmas to you.
I hope every one had a good Christmas and you got every thing you wished for I hope the new year is good to so be good and take care Ed
