What a year 2020 was for us all, personal battles & all.
After my lung op in October 2018 where i had 3 parts of my right lung removed, recovery was tough but i made it, May 2019 i was made redundant due to senior management changes within the organisation, Jan this year started a new job, March, Covid kicked in & was shielded for 5 months, in between that my 57yr old brother died of a heart attack, 3 months back at work and redundancy is creeping in again.
Ohh forgotten about my recent diabetes a few weeks ago.
Surely im dye a bit of luck.
Be safe, take care & Merry Christmas xxx

I'm sorry to know you've been having such a difficult and sad time. This year has been particularly hard and unhappy at times. I hope next year will be better for us all. Wishing you a happy Christmas too. I love the picture 🎅
I am so sorry that you have been having such a horrible time of it. Let's just hope 2021 will be an improvement for you. Myself I have had one thing after another so I can empathise with you. I get up each day and remind myself that I am still alive and try to take the view just to get on with each day as it comes.
What a tough couple of years you've had David no wonder you're so looking forward to this awful one being over. I really hope 2021 will be a blast for you and yourfamily - you all deserve it. P xx
Well Dave you are only missing a couple of reindeer and a sleigh and you have the full package there.I dare not ask what happened to them?maybe the sleigh is in for an repair after an aeriel RTA and i don't believe that all the reindeer have been infected with foot and mouth and culled yet.?
So in concusion, and as some form of consolation i am sending you a better luck e voucher for 2021 and i can guarantee that it is valid for the whole year.spend it wisely and things will get better for you.
I’m sorry you’ve had such an awful time 1968, sometimes you think you can’t bear any more, but you have to keep plodding on. There is light at the end of the tunnel, when we can all see friends and family again and jobs will come back. Take good care of yourself.
Its been a horrid year for most of us and I am sure we will all be glad to see the back of it. So sorry to hear of the loss of your brother. Lets hope 2021 will be a good year. X
You have had a rough time and 2020 is a rough year. Hopefully 2021 will be a better year for everyone. Wishing you luck. Have a lovely Christmas. Take care x
Yep, I reckon 2020 was pretty crappy for you. Here's wishing you a super-duper 2021. 👍😀
I think we’re all waiting hopefully for the improvements possible in 2021, Dave 🤩But really hope you get your full share of better luck and happiness....you’ve been through so much. Let’s all look on the bright side, and your bright fireplace is a great start.....🥳 xx
According to the balance of probabilities (as worked out by yours truly) you must be due some better luck soon!
I'm very sorry to hear you lost your brother this year during such a difficult time which must have made it even harder to cope with.
Could redundancy open a door for you to do something better or different? Sometimes these things can turn out to be a blessing in disguise (as my husband found out).
Anyway, I'm sending the Good Luck fairy your way and hoping her sat nav finds you!
Seems 1968, that this year as brought a lot of challenges for all of us. Not least for you recovering from lung surgery. Its good to know you are recovering , employment has to be your ;last priority in the circumstances. The saying is it never rains but what it pours, so have a happy Christmas and hope 2021 brings us sunshine & healthier brighter days .
You really are due some luck, and I'm sure most of us will be happy to see the back of 2020. Merry Christmas to you too, and hope 2021 is a good one for you.
