Letter from dolby today. I've got two concentrators which between them are on 24hrs a day. Do they use enough electricity to make this worthwhile?

Concentrator reimbursement

Hi
It’s a concession that as been granted, irrespective of the amount used.
Dolby should honour the contract with the NHS and not bother the patient.
They want my bank account number, that's all
That is so they can pay it direct. I am on oxygen 14/24 and get a payment of about £80 paid directly into the bank every 6 months because the engineer takes a reading from the concentrator when he comes to service it so it's definitely worth your while. I'm with Air Liquide but Dolby should do the same. It's because oxygen is classed as one of your medications. Keep smiling x
I do too Carole for the 4 years I have been on Oxygen, I was 24/7, now reduced to 16/7, That payment from "Air Liquide" is a Nice Bonus. I agree "Dolby" should do the same without contacting the Patient. Happy Weekend Hun. XXX
I don't personally bother as i only use mine for housework and exercise but in your case given the amount of usage very well worth applying for the compensation which may be quite considerable and you can spend that as you wish on things that make you more comfortable and happy.
Hi
I am with Dolby and they need your bank details to pay your money into. I get my concentrator serviced about every three months. The engineer takes the reading from the filter and then you get money for the electricity you have used. I can't remember what the rate is they give but it covers the cost of running it.
Regards
