Vitimin d3

Hi ,irang my gp surgery yesterday ,I ask particularly for a d3 blood test ,went for blood test this morning and noticed that that on the institution paper for the nurse it said a vitimin d1 blood test ,does anyone no is there a difference between d3 and d1 ,answers appreciated

Ive never heard of D1 before and according to this info, it's a term which isn't used anymore.

Ive always understood that D3 which is cholecalciferol is the one we should take. I take 1000mg a day. As Im sure you know, people with copd are often deficient, but most older people are likely to be deficient too.

I ordered D3+K2 which arrived in the post today (as well as chewable calcium) hoping it will improve things. I’m guessing if a number is specified after the letter, there’s a reason for that.
