Hi I can't remember what stage you are at but mine was taken off me too ages ago. I am stage 1/2 and was told under the new Gold Standard steroids weren't needed until stage 3. Though my nurse did say if it was the one that worked best for me I would be able to stay on it. x

Well I have had COPD for quite some time now . When I walked up the stairs I needed salbutamol so much out of Breathe since I’ve been taken this new inhaler no where as knackered. This is only a trial but it has made some impact.

Will def let you all know how it progresses. The COPD consultant is monitoring me .

Well summer is almost near that central Heating is a nightmare to me not on so much

Oh well keep smiling & keep healthy x

Hi Brian, As I take these two ie: Salbutamol Being Ventolin, for 2 puffs any time situation. Then my life Saver Symbicort 400 (Steroid Based) One puff every 12 hours, also with Genuair one puff every 12 hours, Been talking these for 5 + years. Asked my Consultant about Trimbow, she said, if it's not broken why Change? I was hoping for a Positive reaction. I start my Rehab (again 6th course) this Morning, I will ask the More Knowledgable Respiratory Nurses there, and to see the New Inhalers there are today. We are all Different , so lets hope this one works for you. Good Luck. xxxx

Hello

You must gargle thoroughly with symbicort other wise there will be some issues . I never at the beginning I landed in hospital well over a week epiglottis which seizes throat infection very bad .

I stopped this inhaler found not working for me. As I said this new inhaler Trimbow seems much better . Any way don’t forget gargle after using Symbicort

I’m not sure I’m happy with a remark like if it not Broken .

That’s Rubbish. If that was said to me I would react very badly.

Any way you do what’s best for you
