Since I'm up anyway

With this stupid sciatica keeping me up all hours, I thought I'd mention something that might be of interest and even more to fellow COPD sufferers, and especially for those who might be seeking lung transplants. I have a neighbor who had a transplant not long ago. Maybe two years? I'm not really sure I don't know him that well, but we chat occasionally while walking the dogs. In fact, it was after one of these chats that I switched over to his pulmonologist, who was the one who arranged his operation. Don't ask me if it was a single or double transplant, because I don't know. All I do know is that he used to lug an 02 canister behind him on his walk and now I see him blocks from his home strolling along toting only his dog. He tells me it's wonderful.

Well said Redsox.

Hope you are keeping well? I don’t recall seeing your foodie posts recently.

Is there something yummy cooking for the Easter time?

I’m a vegan but that doesn’t stop me salivating at some of your menus.

Hi, Shazrab. Just looked at some of your posts and see you've been having a rough time. I do hope you get to feeling better. So, yes, I saw my GP yesterday, and he was helpful. Gave me a shot of something in my hip and pain meds. So the pain is better, but still not sleeping. When I got home from his office I got two phone calls from his nurse. The first was to give me results of blood work, which were generally good. The second had to do with the x-rays they took of my hip. Since by then I was kind of stoned on the pain meds, I didn't really catch what she said. So I'm going to have to call back today. Hopefully we can get at the root of this problem.
