I did a landscape painting and was quite good, my concentration was poor, and I did not like the end result.
So I blacked the canvas and painted a Moonlight Garden which is abstract,
I went to Physio Friday and seemed pointles - he asked me why I had come, I had been referred, he know little about be and said my walking stick was to low on right side, and said I had bursitus - Well maybe maybe not.I have oA in Hips Spine and Neck. .
So Yesterday the 20th was our Golden wedding Aniversey, Gosh 50 years have slipped by.
I have a medication revies Tuesday, I hate them they keep trying to get me on Trimbow.
Wedensday I am having Thorax CT - I seem to live in medical extablishments.
The painting is abstract not everyones cup of tea - But it's a gentle abstract named "Moonlit Garden"

I too feel as if I might as well move into a medical establishment, although I didn’t have any appointments last week, and just my B12 injection on Friday.
It's a pain. Tuesday Medication Review, Wednsday Thorax Scan with contrast - Soon be my eye injection, 24 hour ECG and Echocardiogram. We get fed up with all this helen, don't we?
We certainly do! I’m having a bit of a rest from applying at the moment but no doubt it’ll get back to the madness soon. The thing that really maddens me at the moment are the district nurse visits. They’re every other day but you never know when they’re coming. It was 4pm today!
I remember when my dad was at the near end of his life, the District Nurses came every moring on the dot. About 4 years agoI was quite ill and doctor sent them, never knew a time, they just turned up when they wanted.
Another intriguing painting. I sympathise with the feeling that your life is dominated by medical appointments. Hope they all go as well as possible. Congratulations on your Golden Wedding anniversary. xxx
Congratulations on your 50the wedding anniversary, that’s amazing. Another gorgeous painting, thanks for sharing. I know what you mean about hospital appointments, it’s my only outing these days. Don’t you just hate it when physiotherapists try to tell you how to hold your sticks etc, I’d love to see them cope as well as we do with these conditions. I stopped using crutches as it was putting too much strain on my arthritic neck and shoulders so I use a rollator now and it helps with my balance since a stroke.
Thank you Wendy, yes was bugging me, I mean why the stick when I have spine problems, OA in hip?yes might have been one notch to low, but I had leg problems before I even used a stick. I have Bursitus he says, maybe I don't know. My worry was claudation. I have used crutches and they do cause stress .
You also take care Wendy - i ordered fish and chips at the meal, I can't have spicy food, was a wales sized cod, and very good xxx
Good painting Ern,it does seem that we(collective) get sent to appointments which they deem right for you which they rarely are and lots of input from other so called experts . Happy 50th anniversary to you both and what an achievement. We are currently at 42yr anniversary this year so some way to catch up with you. 🥂
Thank you B0xermail - I think I will try and manage rather than have multi appointments - I remember being send to Virin Care for same complaint, his diagnosis was simple, Periferal Neuropathy. Yes I remember m Thank's again y 42nd, I think it was the last time we could go abroad, time really has flown. I hope when your 42nd day happens, have a meal and enjoy it.
Hi Ern, great painting again. I love the night sky with no airplane vapour trails or street lighting. Hope you had a good meal for your 50th and enjoyed your fish n chips😊❤️xxx
Thank you Nula2 - Yes spot on, the only light the moon. Yes I am fussy with Fish n Chips, but these really good. Cod. Crispy batter no grease,- I ate it all
I had the best annual review I’ve had for maybe 5 years at my doctors on Friday. Only thing was I couldn’t get my blood results due to the IT failure. However did a spirometer and something else test that I blew into a tube height and weight and BP and general chit chat about everything Hope all goes well for you x
Thank you Watergazer. - I have not had a med review in years, I had my ihalers reviewed with a pharmasist who was reviewing my COPD/Asthma. Not allowed spirometer anymore as it would be dangerous being I have eye injections. .
Another one I really like Ern, I love the black sky , you always put colour together well and as you know I’m a fan of folk and abstract. Congratulations on your anniversary, we were lucky to get to our 50th too but as you say it passes way too quickly , it doesn’t seem two minutes since 1970 when I was dashing to meet him every night at 8 when we were both young and beautiful 😂 I don’t know how you cope with all the appointments you have it must be very depressing at times , good that you have your art to enjoy and distract you though . Good luck for next week x
Thank you Val - I like abstract with blooms or nature - Soon I am going to paint Maudie with 1 or three white cats, not sure yet,
Time has shot, hardly believable.. My appointments tomorrow a med eview with a pharmasist - Wednsday I have a rotton one, CT Thorax with Contrast, have to be there either 8-15 ot 8 -30, later are eye, 24 hour ECG, Echo and soom in hospital for a Cystoscopy.
I just cannot imagine how difficult life is for you , I found the many appointments when I was first diagnosed almost as hard as dealing with the diagnosis but to have so many appointments dealing with so many different problems must be exhausting. Difficult to stay positive when your under so much stress but keep trying and keep painting - I’ll look forward to the Maudie painting 😃 x
Tomorrow is to check whether a nodule has grown, got to be there by 8-30 - That's early.
I will son be having a Flexy Cystoscopy, if that is clear I will get some space from that, The ECG 24 and Echo I hope will show just more of the same - I will try and forget until the time.
I am painting one at the moment, after that a Maudie one - Her painting have little grey, they are bright .
She was a gutsy woman Val - how did she do all that art? x
It was obviously her passion Ern , I have the passion but not enough time 😂 Your right to think about stuff when it’s imminent and not before - one day at a time is the way to go and as my old neighbour used to say. “ Keep goin wit yed darn “ I think you should understand that 😂 x
Yes she is an inspiration Val and she painted what she saw, despite he pain and lack of proper materials- I if I have interpeted your old neighbour correctly 'Maud did' x
I like the brush work on the foliage and your foreground with pretty flowers has your hallmark. But ... I'm never keen on totally black backdrops, though I know you painted over the previous! How about mixing smokey tints of lilac or pink into the dark background another time, or even 50 shades of grey - but no sex please.
Yes I sure will do that, setting sky to Cyan Blue with a mon and stas gives a spooky effect, Yes I could try a pit of pink brushed as bits into background, that could work - 50 shades of grey, perhaps not, if my painting would be like the film, as an artist I would be finished.
