Was given Mirtazapine for panic attacks, been on them 3 days, only one night panic attack so far, lets hope it continues, there are some side effects, tired, funny dreams, headache, and very thirsty, Also there is a side effect i like, it gives you a great appetite and seeing as i like my food it suits me fine, so i have decided to put up with the side effects and eat and enjoy, hope the appetite side effect does not wear of,

I was on Mirtazapine several years ago for depression, I asked the doctor to give me something that would give me an appetite, he told me that one of his patients said he could eat the pattern off his plates with this! It really worked for me

Been on Mirtazipine 15 mg for a few months for low mood and depression. They didn’t help at first. So Dr said she would double the dose as 15 was baby dose but that brought on side effects so went back and preserved with the 15 after about 2/3 weeks felt much better the chest consultant added in 1 mg of temazipine for panic attacks which I seem to only get in evenings so i take it about 6-30 which helps until bedtime when I take the Mitrazipine the eating part is true I always get hungry and want something to eat have gained a lot of weight from starting them but they do work fine
