Lung reduction

Hi just had all the tests. Bloods scans after years of copd now told severe emphasemia. A bit suprised thought i had ashma

They are now talking about lung reduction surgery. It terrifies me but i know something has to be done

Will it make a big improvement

Anyone out there had the surgery i would love to hear how much it has helped you if at all
