Not really this time, Fran. One teething and VERY unhappy most of the day, the other was bitten at school, promptly went to loo in trousers, and was sent home eventually in an outsize school uniform on what was 'dress down' day....his civvies nowhere that Grandma could find! Life's a struggle sometimes ๐ ๐คก....if you don't laugh, and all that!!
Have a good day, Fran, whatever happens. Wishing your dear Mum patience, gratitude and some usable footwear....soon!

Dear Happy Fran,i think i still have a supply of those big Nhs non slippy socks in an alarming red colour with bobbles on that Cecilia used to wear over her paralysed foot,i will post forthwith.I said you can do no right with Mum but it's nice that she has the energy and cognitive ability to tell you so. lol
I cut a couple of socks, even a couple of shoes ๐ but apart from making a mess I was unsuccessful, her foot is icy on that tiled floor.
Yesterday the doctor came late at the same time as the nurse, so she ran out and said she didnโt have time to stay.
Then the cleaning lady from the SOS Solidaritรฉ association phoned and cancelled.
So I had planned a morning off with respiratory physio and nebs, but I postponed, showered and went.
We had lunch, I brought mine, Mum got a tray and moaned non-stop. Well it was cold, I said I warm it up in the microwave but she didnโt want me too because her microwave is full of ornaments for some reason you will surely guess but I canโt ๐
By that stage I had reached for a couple of paracetamol and said how about a hot cup of tea and an afternoon nap! I made that a cup of relaxing herbal tea!!!
I slept deeply, woke up at 2 pm and saw Mum with a metre, she wanted me to measure her foot and go to the local chemist to see what orthopaedic shoes he had, which I did. I ordered them. She had a prescription.
When I came back, Mum said she never told me to order them, she wanted to try them on, I said that wasnโt possible but we would see what to do if they didnโt fit. She gave me the look, phoned the chemist and cancelled them.
By which stage it was time for my respiratory physio and another couple of paracetamol so I asked her neighbour to come and I left.
She phoned me later to say the nurse didnโt turn up, but she had her tray of ham salad.
and that was a good day! i blame it on Emmanuel.he has ruined your already crazy France, return to the Swiss Alps where Mum can complain in another language and all runs like clockwork.hope you have a better day today.
Hola Carino, Hope your Mum is feeling better today, I remember having a "Bunion" removed, had to have one of those large Shoe/Sandal, can't remember the right name. They cost a lot though. Hope all is well today on this Fresh Friday here in The Midlands, Due to have sunshine later. take care. Besos. xxxxxx
Yes itโs one of those but I think Iโll wait until her stitches are out next Wednesday, just keep her with chopped up socks and a slip on hospital paper shoe so she is protected.
