I have my pre op meeting today at the Jubilee Clydebank Hospital then I am in on Tuesday fit for surgery on the Wednesday.
I will have the top right lung lobe removed, hopefully a speedy recovery then no more issues or worries.
All things looking positive as they keep saying they have caught this at an early stage, we know it wasn't there in Jan 2016 however it's here now 2cm and 3.5cm more or less beside each other attached to the top right pleura.
I am all fit for surgery and my lung function tests have came back very good.

Thinking of you. I hope everything goes well today and with the surgery when it comes. Wishing you a speedy recovery so you can get to feeling better very soon.
I imagine that your other 4 lobes will say "good riddance to bad rubbish" and you will crack on with a long and healthy life.good luck on Wednesday and in the post op recovery.
All the very best to you, David. Let’s go through it and get to the other side now, and put it behind you. So many people have had excellent recovery from this op. If you want to join a specific forum, the Roy Castle site is a good one. Take care, Penny 💕
Glad to hear you are being dealt with quickly. Every best wish for a speedy recovery after the operation, take care and do not rush at getting fit quickly this is a major operation and rehab may take some time. Will be thinking of you on Wednesday good luck.
