I do summer and winter. I have empacemia and bronciextacis. I think you have to try it and see how you get on. Just keep your security in mind bie a window lock maybe

I keep window slightly open, I have been using a small table top fan for a long while now, I find it helps a great deal, I use it on the low setting so that the noise doesn't bother me.

I have the window open all year round and the fan is often in use too.

Ditto. Plus aircon when nights are hot (live Thailand). Common sense approach recommended by others and implied by you is to suck it and see. Our bodies tell us if we're doing the right thing better than a doctor can in many of our health management choices.

I have emphysema and bronchiectasis and never shut my windows except in extreme winter, and have a fan in the bedroom if I need that too.

Hi Primrose , i have bronchiectasis and cough when I lie down at night but cough more if the bedroom is hot and stuffy, so keep the window open everynight unless it is wet or cold. I make sure to clear my chest before bed otherwise I cough most of the night, hope this helps x
