Spiriva Respimat

Hi everyone.... have now changed over from the dry powder Braltus (Spiriva) to the Respimat - to try and eliminate the dry mouth I had with the powder.

All is going well albiet only 10 days, but today I have a really red sore throat. Of course it may not be a side effect of the Spiriva Respimat, but if it is will my throat eventually tolerate the spray?

Thanks

Dxx

Always best to Rinse your throat out or have. A cup of drink. Must stay. Well watered up. Hydrated. Drink plenty. Always also. With any health condition. Eat. As well and much as you can. Fresh always best. Frozen veg. Is very good. Try. To eat. Chick fish seafood over red meat. But leave out prosessed. I know it's a drag but. I've noticed the difference Iam really. Pretty ill but it's only lungs and being breathless. Is hard constant. I feel that if I eat the very best I can then it will prevent further illness and help with. What I do have as it is life threatening not being able to breath correct is very stressful on the body also keep try to keep the weight on. Always good to have some reserve Iam trying to put a stone on. For lung TX assessment but. Never been able to put just weigh on I can put muscle on. So a month before due date I will really have my work cut out. With weight training. Lucky for me I was once a bodybuilder and will have. Muscle merory but I know i will be close to black outs. As. No pain no gain. And I always like to push myself that extra. 3. Or 5 more then I really can. But when I set my mind. And it's been said. Do. In my head. I focus like on a single point and. Nothing else in this world or. Elsewhere Nothing. 1000 percent focus. On. Getting the DO. DONE. I really fill that most. Illlness are. Really. Helped by the body. But. The main is in your head. Help all you can. Eat drink sleep rest. But. The main is your. Way. You see your self. And how you consider how ILL you are how or how ILL You. Ain't be carful not to underestimate how iLL you are but better to over you follow me. Rather then think how it limits you think what you can do and trick yourself I also do this when really ill and saved me certain from death. I will wake up and no matter how bad I felt. Say out to myself I fill slightly better I will tell DRS I've turnt a corner. With this fight. Once or twice proper fell apart but I add to start again after two or four days once. Awake and kind of alive. I would. Try again. Say to nurse therapist family friends. Much better. Cos there was no. Other. Choice I just had to it was that bad that if I had really takin in. Just how bad I was. Honest to God I would not be here never dwell on how bad you are I know Iam on one but. Not tried and while not. Maybe one day this will help you or someone who reads. This. Bless. You. Take care try best to look after your self. PJ

I moved on from other inhalers, too many to mention, and Respimat was one of them. I now use Anoro Ellipta in the morning and QVAR twice a day. I do get some left in my throat but use Nstatin to get rid of any thrush that may be there. We seem to forget that COPD is incurable and it creeps up on us. It is a bit like Canute trying to stem the tide. Just doing simple basic things like walking and stretching helps us to fight the disease. Over exerting doesn't help, except for putting unnecessary stress on yourself.
