Yes. And. It's not good sign. Try to not cross legs and turn over as often. As you can in bed. It's got to be circulation I get freezing cold legs. But I have a verciouse veins and was. A past. Injector try. Wearing long john. Or warm tights. Depends.on who you are. PJ
I was cold all over all time MY doctor told me to eat a banana I thought he was taking mick BUT might thought would inprove circulation.
Anyway i did try it and BANG nothing still freezing ANYWAY turned out my vit D was low so fixed that and not sufferd chronic coldness.
Hi Sinclair, I must say that Pete often gets cold legs and feet even in bed. It probably is circulation and Pete also has heart problems. Speak with your doctor perhaps. Take care xxxx
Hello sinclair61, I have severe Raynaulds Disease and have done for over twenty years, it's a Vascular disease and affects hands, feet and in some people their nose so I've been told. I lost my left leg because of the disease turning my foot black hence my name Stumpy lol. However I'm not saying you have it but you could get checked out? In the cold weather my hands and right foot go blue and numb. I am on medication for it. Please stay Intouch with us and let us know how you get on? Oh yes I also have nerve damage to my bladder caused by a vascular operation so I am bladder incontinent and my family call me TIDDLES ha!ha! 🤞😉xx
Yes, I have Raynauds Syndrome in my hands, legs and feet, nose and ears. I learned to develop my own fashion sense to avoid serious problems. So what if I've got several layers and everyone else is down to shorts and T-shirts? Only one place ever criticised me for that. I did get it checked out at Ninewells Hospital to make sure it was primary (which it is) rather than secondary to some other condition.
Hi i have cold legs and hands most of the time yet as far as i am aware i have neither a dodgy ticker or circulatory problems after a recent echocardiogram and a vascular study of my legs revealed normal pulse and circulation even though i have a tendency towards varicose veins in my right leg,i do have consistently low o2 levels at rest on air of 88-92% so perhaps there is some correlation with o2 levels?.....regards cold Ski's and a warm cat
Apparently Raynaulds Disease is hereditary and looking back fifty odd years I remember my nan complaining about her feet always being cold and bluish, and she would say "ruddy feet "but it wasn't a well know problem back them. Nice to hear from you skiss And cool cat ✋️🤓xx
Hi stumps,i just checked it out and there are both primary and secondary Raynauds diseases and the primary being sometimes idiopathic in that they haven't got a clue where it came from and may be genetic and the secondary being a result of various other disease and that list is endless so we have probably all got it now lol.'Tiddles' you do make me laugh sometimes and i think you are cooler than my cat xx
Thanks for that Skiss, oh well my husband says if I lose my right leg in the future there will still be enough of me to love and I can understand that completely lol. However, we all have to deal with our health problems best way we can Skiss, onwards and upwards . I do like our little chats it must be nice for you lol. ✋️😉xx give Scruffy a big kiss from me X
My legs are permanently cold. I'd thought about asking the same question time am again but thought it was probably coincidence. Not so sure now! I have no handy hints I'm afraid but glad to know I'm not alone! 😁
I get cold legs, but my feet are hot. I have to have my feet hanging out the bed but then my legs get cold and really ache. I use the fleece sheets so my legs don't feel so cold.
I think mine has something to do with restless leg syndrome, I don't have it all the time but enough for me to keep a blanket on the back of my chair, so I can wrap my legs up if they get achey and cold. I've had this forever, never been to docs about it though x
As someone else mentioned Raynaud's is a possibility-- although I am been told it is more likely to effect fingers and toes, my significant other has it in his fingers. There is medication for it-- calcium channel blockers is the class of drugs. But whatever it is sounds like a circulation problem-- that should be checked out. There are other treatments that can be used as well-- there are some cuffs that go around the legs while in bed that improve circulation. I am not sure what they are called, I know they use them in hospitals, and has been told you can get them for home use.
