Chest infection.

I hope I dont sound like a moan but I need to talk about this to someone. I have finished my third lot of antibiotics and still have this pain in my back just around the kidney area, is that usual when you have a chest infection? my mind is full of all sorts of nonsense about cancer of the kidney or something far more sinister, please can anyone advise.

Hi, we can't help thinking the worst at times when experiencing unusual pain.

I would call the BLF help line, 03000 030555 UK office hours the experts can advise on lung issues.

Another possibility of course is that it's nothing to do with lungs and you have a urine or kidney infection. So, a visit to the GP is in order, they can quickly to a dip stick test to rule out, or in, an infection there.

Do seek medical help won't you?
