I would like to know what you think. I went GP last week and was told i had a chest infection and I asked if it was connected to my neck glands are all swollen. This is giving me a sore tongue, ,and throat. I am drinking loads because throat goes dry and then I cough and that hurts. GP told me if i didnt feel any better when Anti-biotics finished i am to go back to see her. Well i have finished them and my chest seems better but i neck is still well swollen. My daughter came in yesterday and she asked about my throat saying has your cushions come back. It is painful, I wondered if it was Glandular fever.Giong back tomorrow seeing the same GP, so we will see what she says. XX

Hugs everybody. XX

I was at doc last week with extremely sore throat, never went to a doc with a sore throat before just gargled with oraldene mouthwash, which you can't get now, and it cleared up. He prescribed nystan and lemon and honey drinks, this didn't help probably cos it wasn't thrush was at my meds review on Mon and doc gave me mouthwash that he reckoned was equivalent of oraldene and to stop using nystan, not sure what actually worked in the end as they couldn't agree what caused it, jabs for hols, inhaler etc pleased its almost gone now think the mouthwash helped though its called Benzydamine

right been GP, throat glands are now down and neck just looks big. Have a touch of thrush in my mouth from anti-biotics. So chest infection gone chest is a good as it gets. She gave me a mouth rinse and just said make sure i rinse my mouth out after using inhalers. So I'm good, back to walking my dog round the block to try and loose a bit of weight. Hoping to walk further later as i limber up. Hugs to all XX
