What a glorious sight! Who is the lily lover in your house? Can I see more rambling roses at the back too?...and what is the very tall purple flower at the back at 12 o clock? My idea of heaven Iris. Thanks so much

Thank you. They are actually all in pots, I have a silly number of pots! I tried to count them once & got fed up around 380, not just on the yard but all over the garden. My husband takes them down the garden when they finish flowering & we store them under cover in the winter to keep the rain off, they don't mind the cold. I am obsessed with plants & I have built up an unintentional collection of lilies simply by buying a few new ones every year & before I became unwell by propagating from the bulb & seed which I save. The tall purple plant is a species Clematis (another obsession) growing up an obelisk at the other side of the drive. Yes there are Roses, it is very much a cottage garden. I used to spend every available minute in now I supervise!! I will post some more of other bits of the garden. Penny xx

Yes - please do. 380 ......is an awful lot of pots but your results are stunning.
