I can't wait for some good weather so I can get some colour into the garden all that you can see is perennial planting but everyone thinks it looks calm. I have several birds nests in the shrubs as well. Good job my cats are house cats and I do not use any insecticides so it is a birds paradise :)

We have two bird houses and keep suet on one and peanuts on the other. It has been like Clapham Junction today with the birds zipping around everywhere. We get mainly tits and robins. How they all avoid colliding I don't know.

You have a lovely garden Jandan. I too would be wanting to get out there.

That picture of your garden looks really peaceful I can just imagine the birds singing and the sun casting shadows as the day wears on.If your weather is like mine today it's a view to savour from the window. It's wet and windy hear and so cold for May even the flowers have gone back to sleep

Good old Stockport weather damp as hell but it does keep the plants quite healthy ;)

How lovely Jan. I wish I had your green fingers. I have nothing but greenery in my garden, and would hate to plant anything flowering which could bring on an attack of sob :)

Love the garden Jandan sit out there in the sun painting - mugs o tea and lots of pie sighs....... ;-)

Beautiful garden Jan. I think you will be sitting on your bench tomorrow. :) I predict no rain for you, a lot of sunshine and a gentle breeze. But you might need a light cardigan on. :)

I love your garden no wonder you want to get out in it.

What a beautiful calming garden, congrats on your work in it!! xxx

Wish my garden was as nice however it is home to a family o grey squirrels including 2 babies that scamper up and down our 40 year old flowering cherry tree. The love the monkey nuts I provide but leave the shells all over the place. Also have lots of birds visiting, my favourite being the beautiful Jays. My husband says they are better fed than he is.

Lovely garden it looks quite sheltered I can just imagine you sitting on the bench taking in the sun, hope it happens for you soon. xxxx
