Hi to all that have replied to my post. thank you. It really has helped. It's good to know there are people who understand, and for that I am grateful.
I start Rehabilitation in September, and I am told it really does help.
I will let you know the outcome of hospital visit on 20th thank you again,

Hi Maggie, well that's good news in just one day. I know at one time it would have sounded a really stupid thing to say, but knowing things are going to be done to help also helps to move you out of the headlight position, if you see what I mean!
Rehab is really good not only in terms of exercising which will help you breath better ( and you'll feel more confident about going out), but also lots of education classes - know your enemy! And you'll meet other people and be able to support each other, and it's fun.
And an appointment at the hospital on 20th is do-able, and actually quite good. Keep in touch, and I'm really pleased that you're feeling a bit better about things.
