That sounds terrible carolg1, sounds like an infection, do you have emergency a/b,s and steroids ?, i would take them,,, or bite the bullet phone an ambulance

hope things improve

love jimmy xxxx

A and E or call an ambulance now please. This isn't right. Don't take any chances with your lungs as they are fragile enough. It's best to take action when you don't need to rather than not when you do. Be safe rather than sorry. x

Hi Jimmy bless u for worrying about me, I feel a tad better today only vomiting for 2 hours, I've been like this for months and the doctors don't seem to know what is going on, all I know is that I don't think I can keep the pace up, I'm experiencing a lot of muscle spasms in my lung area but I'm not surprised with all the retching I'm doing ! X

och carol i really do feel so much for you, i've no doubt you cant keep that up, if its any consolation i had very bad sickness and diarrhea last week, since i come out of hospital, but my g.p said it was the antibiotics i was allergic too, i wish i had have taken my carers advice, and got the g.p in earlier. as when these a/b,s stopped the sickness and diarrhea stopped almost right away. Anyway it sounds like its different in your case, if the g.p doesn't know. i wondered if you could have asked for a respiratory nurse to visit you, they can help in many ways. billie jean mentioned a good thing, its always wise to have a sputum test done.

i'm afraid you must keep on at your g,p. they really should have the answer for you,

i really feel for you and genuinely hope you get to the bottom of this very soon.

many thanks carol for keeping us in touch

kindest thoughts, love,

jimmy xxx

Have you had the sputum tested Carol ? If it's being caused by infection then you'll get no ease from the symptoms until it's treated. I hope you get some relief soon.

Thanks billiejean , I have had it tested a couple of times one was clear one had coliform ? No treatment required apparently , I have been struggling with this for a couple of years but over the past few weeks it's much much worse, I know it's gross but it's coming out in giant globules with real substance , so I am ringing the doctors again tomorrow, I don't understand I don't cough much at all, it appears to just come up from the back of my throat but huge amounts, I don't know how I haven't choked, thanks for responding , I'm at my wits end xx Carol
