Hi Malcolm, sorry to hear you're still fighting your infection. You're doing the right thing by taking your meds but rest & take it easy & you'll soon be back to normal 🌺
My chest infection likes it here and doesn't want to leave either. Had to give in and been off work since Tuesday and was planning on returning on Monday but still very wheezy so may have re think that one, we'll see.
Hope you are feeling better soon. Just getting over it myself, really nasty bug. Get plenty of rest and drink plenty. Take care, love the dag😊 xx
So sorry David - seems there is a lot of it about just now...and we are not even into winter yet. I hope you are soon feeling better. Mum and Pups looking great! I have sent you a private message.
Morning, been up all night, took my oldest son to Glasgow airport 4:30am, he is of to Amsterdam then America with his year 5 and 6 from school, lucky boy, the only trip I was on from school was the old Glasgow zoo lol.
In bed now, just took my antibiotics, throat spray and pain killers.
I am going to take next week off to get this out my system, never had this sort of bug before, last time I was off from work was about 3 years ago. I have a week holiday booked for 2 weeks time, so in all I will be off for 2 weeks.
At first signs of a sore throat I gargle four times a day at least with 50:50 TCP liquid and water, squirt First Defence from the chemist up my nose every two hours or so, and take day nurse and night nurse capsules. This is in addition to taking antibiotics rescue tablets as prescribed, kept at home for infections, and, as I have sarcoidosis I increase my intake of prednisolone as instructed by the consultant for 5 days. This usually, not always, keeps a cold at bay.
