Day 3 and feel really bad.

Had this throat infection, chest infection and lower lung infection for 3 days now.

Been taking antibiotics, throat spray and paracetamol.

Every bone aches, head pounding, neck ache, runny eyes and nose, don't even mention the throat.

However hopefully not long now before it passes.

Hi Malcolm, sorry to hear you're still fighting your infection. You're doing the right thing by taking your meds but rest & take it easy & you'll soon be back to normal 🌺

Hi David, hope you feel better soon.

Pups are getting bigger every day. They look gorgeous. What are your plans for them? Are you keeping them or do you have good homes for them to go to?

Keep taking your meds, rest & hopefully you'll be fully recovered very shortly 🌻

Need to sell them, will break out hearts however would be unfair to keep them we already have 4 sharpies and 2 lurchers.

Hi David, I'm sure you'll find the perfect homes for them all. Just enjoy them till then 🌷

I'm thinking of taking next week off just to totally get rid of it.

Never had anything like this before.

My ears are burning pain in all joints.

OMG mirror image lol won't be long till it passes though.

Think this is nature's way of cleaning the body out every so often.

Hope you get better soon.

Morning, been up all night, took my oldest son to Glasgow airport 4:30am, he is of to Amsterdam then America with his year 5 and 6 from school, lucky boy, the only trip I was on from school was the old Glasgow zoo lol.

In bed now, just took my antibiotics, throat spray and pain killers.

I am going to take next week off to get this out my system, never had this sort of bug before, last time I was off from work was about 3 years ago. I have a week holiday booked for 2 weeks time, so in all I will be off for 2 weeks.

Dogs are all doing good, more pictures to follow.

Wee sleep for a couple of hours will do me good.

At first signs of a sore throat I gargle four times a day at least with 50:50 TCP liquid and water, squirt First Defence from the chemist up my nose every two hours or so, and take day nurse and night nurse capsules. This is in addition to taking antibiotics rescue tablets as prescribed, kept at home for infections, and, as I have sarcoidosis I increase my intake of prednisolone as instructed by the consultant for 5 days. This usually, not always, keeps a cold at bay.

This may help

A row of bottles on my shelf

Caused me to analyze myself.

One yellow pill I have to pop

Goes to my heart so it won't stop.

A little white one that I take

Goes to my hands so they won't shake.

The blue ones that I use a lot

Tell me I'm happy when I'm not.

The purple pill goes to my brain

And tells me that I have no pain.

The capsules tell me not to wheeze

Or cough or choke or even sneeze.

The red ones, smallest of them all

Go to my blood so I won't fall.

The orange ones, very big and bright

Prevent my leg cramps in the night.

Such an array of brilliant pills

Helping to cure all kinds of ills.

But what I'd really like to know...

Is what tells each one where to go!
