Cruises
My friend has big heart problems and my sister in law has a j pouch and both have had problems getting the correct insurance. They a re both with Voyager insurance now, one is off on a Mediterranean cruise for their 50th wedding anniversary and one off to Disney land Florida soon.
Never been on a cruise yet. Where are you going?
Lucky you! Something lovely to look forward to.
Sorry can't help with insurance, just wanted to wish you well π·
Going to Paris! You must be insane-in Seine?! haha! Have a lovely time. There is a company that advertises on UK telly that covers people with medical conditions..and she ends up inviting her mother..much to her husband's dismay! If nobody else can remember it, I'll keep an eye out for it for you. So much for the power of advertising, eh! Don't travel a lot these days...last time we visited Venice..the place was flooded!
Many thanks , we do need to keep our sense of humour made me lol πβοΈπ°Coffee & cake if I can't get up the Eiffel Tower ππππ
I use a broker called Insurance Choice (just google it) and this year my insurance is with Tokyo Marine (no, I'm not a boat, not even going on a cruise!). Previously with Mapfre but because of chest infections they wouldn't insure me so the broker searched around. Still not cheap though.
I have an annual policy with Free Spirit Travel Insurance and price was very good with full cover.

We also have travel insurance with our bank and it not only covers us but any family members in our party, regardless of age or medical conditions. Good luck and enjoy cruising!
Hi like you I live my cruising I shopped around my insurance costs me 283 pounds for a week's cruise in America I have second level c o p d the doctors on the ships have everything you need if you get a flair up enjoy your cruise
If you go up the Eiffel Tower if you need to sit down, take a light weight seat stick with you as there may be 'static' queues for the tickets and the lifts. Good idea to go early ish in the morning before the queues build up. Fantastic views from the top. Also a nice thing to do in Paris is the open top (or enclosed) tour bus which usually have a commentary of the sites; you can get off wherever you like and get on again later. A good idea is to take your own small headphones as sometimes they have been taken by previous passengers!
