I have found that I'm eating little n often which worries me as don't want to eat more than normal... Trying to watch what I eat now that I'm on prednisone 😞
The heat has been overwhelming here 100F at one point, 38C. We feel like damp dishcloths. Poor George is feeling the heat too, drinking lots of water and finding the coolest place to lie down.
My chest doesn't like the heat. Coughing and wheezing with chest pains. My poor Husband is affected worse than me, he sweats non stop. I do worry about his heart but he won't listen.
My sats dropped to 90%-95% yesterday afternoon and I felt incredibly tired. But I had to do some music practice and when I started singing, they went back to 99%, so avoiding the headache I usually get afterwards. At least I know now that when I feel that tired it's because my sats are low and the headache I get after is a COPD one, and singing will help even though it's the last thing I feel like doing at the time.
Definitely keep the eating up - I have noticed that my husband is not eating as much. So we have decided little snacks often. Take good care, keep cool and well lots of love TAD xx
Tadaw Will you marry me?
Hubby found it hard yesterday as his sat was low plus woke up with pain in back and coughing more hate. Seeing him like this it so sad as he use to love the summer but last few days he finding so hard
SCLE bod,
I collapsed on my sofa when i got home from work just could not function it was though some one had drugged me, not sure whether that's classed as fatigue. i just kept thinking i wish it was winter i am just so scared of walking in the sun. i have to go outside to get to the works canteen and i just dread walking in the sun.
Best wishes
Draping a wet towel over head and shoulders provides effective cooling.
