We have all been plagued with the cold and windy weather, so until Spring I can try and bring a Tropical Spring to us.

Beautiful picture Ern 🥰 We got our bit here in Teesside with that previous storm, but no power cut where I live! But some trees toppelled and a couple of fires broke out! So sad with all the power cuts elsewhere Ern! Hope people are connected again! I am all electric in my new flat since last April which is very inconvenient! I had a gas cooker in my other 1 bedroom house which I was able to use if electric power was off! How can we go on with just electric power when there are power cuts with every storm here in the UK and Ireland, torrential rain and floodings! That needs to be sorted first! Hope you were safe Ern, and everyone on here too! Especially when you rely on electric power because of health issues and need to use nebulisers, oxygen, electric beds and wheelchairs and surely so much more! These 5 storms since Autumn have been horrible for people!

But one thing caught my eye lately, my 2 winter Heliborum plants are flowering again and showing there white blossoms 🥰

Thank you Snowdrop_17 - We have two greenhouses - one glass and one polly. The winds really did damage in NW England - The glass was fine, the polly shook all the cactus to theground. Yoy are righ, autumn was no better.

Now you’ve definitely done it, where’s my deckchair and my cocktail? I could just see myself there with my darkest shades on and my huge sun hat, oh the joys of some warmth on my aching bones. I can but wish. The sun beaming through the window this morning made me smile as I reached for my new prescription reactalight lenses, this light sensitivity is horrible a lot worse than before but I’ll see what the ophthalmologist says at the hospital in July! All these hospital referrals are getting rushed through then you get a date for July! Plus side Ern rheumatology nurse rang yesterday, my recent CT scan has been seen by my respiratory consultant so it’s just waiting for him to talk to my rheumatologist and I can start these infusions which will hopefully keep the inflammation on my lungs and heart at bay. Hope you’re keeping well.

Thank you Numptybrain - I have trouble with glasses, a pare specially mmade for painting and Laptop, useless and cost a lot. I am waiting for a call from urology, I have to have a treatlem calledTula - Supposed to be in feb, I will see, I wish you luck with your " rheumatologist" then you can get sorted.
