just to say that I hope everyone is doing as well as possible in this weather. I've got copd and have just had a mixed cold/infection, so it feels as though there isn't much air to be had. I'm taking all the medication as advised, plus an emergency supply of antibiotics, and hope things will lift. All the best.

Sorry to hear that, If I was you I would stay in doors whilst it's extremely cold over next couple of day's I don't suffer COPD thankfully but I do have Chronic Asthma and going out yesterday and this morning made me really cough, had to increase my relievers , So I'm taking my own advice for a couple of day's. hope you improve soon, take care of yourself
Hi, wrap up warm if u do have to go out, roll on spring, but saying that all the seasons have the flaws for me, cold in winter, heat and pollen in the summer, damp and cold in autumn, so to be fair I moan about all of them lol but I do love the spring when all the colours return. Anyway take care and hope u feel better soon. X Sonia xx
m75t, Have you been referred to a pulmonary nurse team. You ask your GP or your consultant. (I hope you have a consultant). A pulmonary nurse is a mine of information; she can advise you, refer you to a physiotherapist if needed. she would be able to mention medical things expertly to your doctor and teh worries you have. Of course, she would also assess you. She might even invite you to be enrolled on Pulmonary Rehabilitation, as you need some gentle exercises to maintain your health.
