So I've been at work for about an hour and a half now and all of a sudden I started having this sharp pain under my breasts in the middle. It really hurts breathing in air. No matter how I stand, sit, or lay down it still hurts. When I cough it really hurts.

Have you any inhalers with you to open the airways? If not, I do not know about nebulisers but sounds as if you need to go to A and E. Hope you get some help. KatieJJ.
Get some help right away, this isn't the sort of thing you can put off. Let us know how you get on.
Hi I agree with mustcarryon. Seek immediate help and don't take any chances with your lungs, it is probably nothing serious but if it is you could damage your lungs further. Please let us know how you are getting on when you can. x
