I have a bath with my oxygen on if I feel I need it. As far as I'm concerned I can't see why you shouldn't wear it in the shower. Make sure the pipe is out of the way so you don't trip over it though !
I use mine in the shower,I hang it on the outside and use a 2.1 metre cannula.no problem.good luck
Hi Teaky you take care often think about you
I used to have someone throw my cannula over the top of the shower and use it whilst washing, but then found it easier to sit in the bath, with a powered seat.
hi ya iuse oxygen in shower . just remember air is blowing up your nose so if you have head under spray too long water get blown up your nose . plus try not to have it too hot as I find if its too steamy I go dizzy. I also have shower chiar . and wife who has to assist me . bit wobbly on my own .keep on breathing
First I wish you a long and healthy life. I don't know of miracles as lung transplant or down the road stem cell therapy is not the options that most of us are granted. I day dream of something like dialysis, is there a home machine that directly oxygenates blood with bypassing the lungs all together. In my readings I always here of new drugs but never potential cures. Wish there were a section that would name a disease and tell of research cures being work on, where one might contribute time, money or even be a guinea-pig. We live once let it be for as long a time as we can mustard up the endurance. God Bless all of us who suffer and strive to regain what was.
I use my oxygen in the shower with no problems. Also on oxygen 24/7 and try to think of it as just another medication.
thank you for all replies
