It is worth making small sacrifices that will be repaid plus interest attending a pulmonary rehabilitation course changes how we live with our lung conditions. The social element alone of meeting fellow sufferers who understood how it feels when the old chest does not want to begin it's day.

Eager for the updates snow54flake.

Well done on getting your referral for pulmonary rehab, it's really something to look forward too as it will only help your fitness level and it's great seeing the improvements week on week. Also, you meet such a variety of other people with the same condition that also helps. The first time I went I was off work on sick-leave and it really helped fight the depression that was settling on me at that time

Good luck with PR course, you will love it and feel so much fitter, I did mine last year and still go once week as a maintenance, made lots of new friends too.

Best Wishes Jude xx

Anyone know what's the usual time interval between leaving hospital due to COPD & starting PR course?

hi mr happy do you have a date to start your pr course, if you have you could still go along and explain to them about just getting out of hospital you dont have to take part in the excersise if you dont feel up to it. marian xx
