Depression Dr prescribed Sertraline.

I have to take for 14 days and go back to the Drs. Anyone else taking these tablets? Thanks

I suffer with GAD and I am prescribed Citalopram, have been on them for two years and so far so good, seem to be working for me alright

Hi Brooke,that's what I take,never been on anything before.

Was a bit hesitant about it,but was prescribed for the panic attacks,I started having.Found a great difference after a week or so,& been quite happy with it,hope it helps you! xxx

I am on it for 8 months and it really works. Known as Zoloft in the US. I tried 2 other anti-depressants/anti-anxiety drugs and they didn't work for me. It's an older medication so there's more history with it. I also take Xanax when I am very breathless and getting panicked.

I was prescribed Sertraline a while ago. I reacted very badly to them. I was told I would feel worse before getting better(1tablet at night) but after taking the 3rd tablet I was terrified & stopped them. I was too scared to try an alternative for ages but now take Lorazapam. I only take it if I feel I can't cope & that way feel as if I am more in control of the Anxiety/Depression.
