How quickly does this work for you.

My hubby started getting breathing problems today and was advised to start his emergency pack of Prednisolone

According to him they started helping a lot within an hour.which is great.

Is that usual ?

YEP me too it is like magic, its just a shame its not a long term solution, I can not only breath better, but I eat better have more energy end result a generally weller person all round, why can we take them all the time xx

Me too. Ive been finding that I can take just two days of pred and that's enough to bring me back to normal. Which is great as Ive been a chronic steroid refuser due to possible side effects and made myself worse when i was needing them badly. But now two days feels ok.

It should work as soon as the prednisolone is in your system, probably an hour or so. It doesn't take away any infection, though. does your husband cough up (If yes, try to get a sputum pot from the surgery to test his sputum for bugs).

Will you see the doctor (Recommended, I think)?
