Prednisolone

Well back on the medication 💊 and prednisolone, been coughing with production excessively for a week. Finally started steroids as no colour change 4 days ago but this morning the worm has turned into colour ,so onto antibiotics I go after a whole year without my rescue pack and only prophylactic azithromycin 3 times a week. I have been really lucky up to now ,clearance ,mucolyte and throat lozenges have been key to keeping it away so far

That’s a bummer B0xermad and l hope you recover very soon. Which AB’s are you on? If Pete gets a chest infection (also on azithromycin 3 days a week) he takes Doxycycline which seems to be good.

Thank you sassy I'm on amoxicillin as doxycycline is definitely not my favourite friend lol

Thank you it's now full blown chest infection so popping the antibiotics and steroids was the best decision I have made hopefully it will go soon
