I know this may sound a bit morbid !! But what is the one thing you would have liked to have done whilst you still could. ???
I would of loved the opportunity to have walked on the ocean floor.

I would love to go back Fly Fishing on Loch Lomond.. Ah Such good memories.
Fishing...I loved my fishing, can't do it anymore because of carrying it all and other things.we live next to a lake and often walk my pooch round there,I talk to them all.how sad am I !!!
Not morbid at all Jambo... I think it's something we all think about - the things we want to do before we toddle off this mortal coil .... Chris's poem summed it up for me ... I'd like a moment longer, for one more thing to do
Poem by Homebreeze
You are an imaginary conversation in my head,
You are the sunny glade in the woods where I've been led,
You are the music in the air I can almost hear,
You are the smile, you are the laughter and the tear,
I can see the early morning mist across the bay,
And glory in the sunset at the end of the day,
Count every grain of sand along the shore,
But let me have a moment longer, just one more,
I promise not to waver nor complain,
To be ready for you when you come again,
If anyone understands that would be you,
There's just one more thing I have to do.
Spot on.. Good answer xxx

My Mum wanted to emigrate to New Zealand in the 1960s and was going to go with a group of friends. Her papers don't come through though, so the others left without her.
Instead of waiting and going later she looked for jobs abroad and got one in Spain where she then lived for a very long time, and met my Dad.
She's back in England now and when I asked her if she was ever going to visit New Zealand she said no, not now, she's too old for that journey. It's a pity, she has always had a thing about New Zealand but will never have been there.

One last visit to New York, I love it there but alas it would be too much of a scutter (a Scottish expression) with oxygen and whatnot!

About 1993 I made a list (didn't call it a bucket list at the time) when recovering from marriage break up.
On it, as far as I remember was:
pass test to ride big motorbike
buy a big bike
ride a big bike across USA
learn to sail
sail around the world
fall in love
go to Australia
go to Japan
move back to London when kids older
change my career
there were more but I cant remember. . . . when moving house in 1997 - to London
I found the list and saw I'd done it all bar sailing around the world (still love to) and biking across USA (also still love to). And all that time I'd been living hand to mouth.
Quite a powerful thing making a list. Time to do another and at the top would be 'find a way to pay off mortgage'!!
To see the Grand Canyon that was mine
