Don's Christmas list.
Pretend there isn't one this year. 🙄
86 I've had of them,
So surely I've a title
To have at least one year off
Because I think it vital.
Get one my dear Don 😊
You must make room for at least cake. Have a good one
Very good Fran 😊 😀
I think Christmas gets more commercial every year. They will soon be celebrating it all year long instead of just 4 months.
True but I like the magic
Not sure it will go on that long but I believe there are moves already afoot to change the name from Christmas to something similar to the American " happy holidays", hopefully not on my watch!!.
Lovely, my to do list would simply read Try stay awake!
😂 Love it.
Love this. xx 🙋💕
I saw this the other day Fran, and I thought wouldn't it be lovely if everyone did this. It's very good. 🎄🎅 xx
Good one Fran x
Wish it was like that rather than all hype going on x
Love it!
Love this HappyLondon! Have done all my present shopping now so will spend Dec doing the above! Going to try and do a reverse advent with my girls this year x
Wonderful, some years ago my group of friends decided would do decent birthday gifts, but no Christmas presents, except for children. When I was fit, Christmas started when I used to go to The Albert Hall for a Carol concert (one of the ones where the audience joined in). The TV ads just drive me nuts, I hear of children telling their parents what they want. I dread to think what would have happened if I had told my mother I wanted a pair of trainers that cost £150.00 !!! It would not have been pleasant, but children are being encouraged to think of this as a spending/present time and not much else, the Christmas Saint being a fizzy drink guy in a red suit !!! Where I used to live the local church used to do a sort of follow on to the Harvest Festival, collecting tins and packets of food, nearer the time getting some fresh food in, and the congregation used to take parcels from this to local families in need, (small prezzies in for those with young children), the local Salvation Army used to do hot meals in their Hall for those alone and those who were homeless, with pile of good quality 2nd hand clothes for those who needed them. I know a few people who did not belong to either of these churches, but went in round Christmas so they could help with the work and the gifts and feel useful. I know these things still happen, but of course no longer see it first hand.
I love these, especially no 1, be present. We’ve already simplified Christmas in my family, reducing Christmas cards and presents big time, and everyone likes it!
very good thank you xx
Just love that. Thank you
Great! Thank you!
This is how it should be....on Christmas and everyday!!
